Barry Mosley grew up in Toronto, Canada, but moved to the United States in 1979 . He first began to study photography privately with a professional photographer in the middle of the 1980s in the Bay area in California, and was shortly working as a photographer for the San Jose Jazz Society, photographing Jazz musicians.

In the later part of the 1990s Barry Mosley relocated to Portland, Oregon. Inspired by the beautiful nature in Oregon Barry began to shoot scenic photography in Black & White. In regards this type of art work he says;

"...there is a great solitude and beauty in nature and this is what I look for. Sometimes it takes hours just waiting for the perfect light."

These works have been galleried in Los Angeles by renowned artist and art curator Pasqual Bettio.

In Oregon Barry also worked as an in house photographer for the Wedding House. He is available for travel.
